The Process
Initial inspiration
Serena prefers to begin a project with a relaxed discussion to help her understand the story behind your piece.
Serena holds meetings in several private and comfortable spaces around Central or West London, or she is happy to meet in a London location that suits you.
We can also hold meetings over the phone if you live outside of London. Serena will work with you personally over message or email to keep you closely informed throughout the process.
Design
Having discussed an idea of budget and with inspiration from your chat she will produce sketches and design ideas for your piece.
Serena is always delighted to give new life to your own sentimental or inherited jewels, or she will source gemstones to fit your new piece of love.
Depending on the project, you may be given the option to create a 3D design or wax model of your final piece to give you an even better visual idea before going ahead.
Making your piece
Once you have decided on the perfect design with Serena’s guidance, the appropriate amount of time, love, attention and excellent craftsmanship is devoted to your piece.
Depending on the design, it will either be entirely made by hand or cast in the precious metal of your choice before being set and finished by hand.
By crafting pieces of love in the way we do, not only can they be handed down through generations, but we also ensure a more sustainable, lighter footprint on the planet.
How Long Will It Take?
Depending on each unique experience, the design process typically takes between 4 and 10 weeks from start to finish.

If any future alterations are needed to your ring or other pieces, we will gladly do our best to alter them to suit your needs.
